TENSION

“Tension” was the first of three projects created in collaboration with Jayjay Ugbe, AKA The Black Hibiscus for his upcoming EP (along with Don’t Wanna Miss U and the forthcoming Forlorn). The video was shot at Pirate’s Cove in Long Island in June 2024 and drew inspiration from various Art-House cinema sources and the work of Ingmar Bergman. We shot on the Sony FX6 and Trustfall’s Sigma 150-600mm lens to give a compressed, geometric look. Liam Podos was the Director of Photography and Colorist, Samuel Mitchell was the 1st Assistant Camera, and Jake Shoop was the Gaffer. Tension was released on July 26th and has garnered over 12k views.
