“God Loves Us When We Dance” is a queer, contemplative sci-fi drama following a group of students given a difficult task by a mysterious organization. The film drew influence from such films as Solaris and Interstellar. The film was shot in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in August 2024. Liam Podos was a Producer and the Director of Photography and Jake Shoop served as the project’s Gaffer. The film is currently being edited by Samuel Mitchell and will be colored by Muhil Vaseekaran. The Venice Production Package and lighting package was serviced by Trustfall Studios. “God Loves Us When We Dance” is eyeing an early-2025 release.
