“Wisdom Teeth” is an experimental short film directed by Lily Kaplan and written by Isa Barrett. After getting her wisdom teeth removed a disoriented girl must navigate the disappearance of her best friend and the liminal spaces she can’t escape. In “Wisdom Teeth” memories, day-dreams, and delusions blend together as Lila processes loss, regret, and growing pains. Samuel Mitchell served as the project’s director of photography, Liam Podos served as the film’s gaffer, Muhil Vaseekaran acted as the first assistant camera as well as the film’s colorist. “Wisdom Teeth” is currently in the festival circuit and awaiting its official debut. The film’s production crew and equipment were sourced predominantly from Trustfall Studios.
