“Takeout” is a documentary currently in production that details how small mom-and-pop shops in NYC are being hurt by third-party delivery services. While the story is still unfolding currently, the production has spoken to several small business owners who have had their bottom lines affected by the city’s growing dependence on using apps to get their food delivered. The production hopes to continue to do this as well as interview policymakers who have taken an interest in the shop owners’ plight and can help them. This project was shot on the Blackmagic Pocket 6k Pro, with the Rokinon Cinema Lens Set.
