AN ARM, A FOOT,

AND A LEG

“An Arm, a Foot, and a Leg” is an NYU thesis film written and directed by Sammy LeMieur. The film was shot in March of 2024 in Little Falls, Minnesota and was the first NYU production ever shot in Minnesota. The film draws inspiration from film noir and the black-and-white cinema of the late 50s and early 60s, as well as the work of the Coen Brothers, particularly 2011’s Inside Llewyn Davis. Liam Podos was the Director of Photography and Colorist and Jake Shoop was the Gaffer. The film is currently in post-production and is eyeing a late-2024 release.
