FAST LOVE
BY BLACK HIBISCUS
“Fast Love” is a music video produced for the title track of Black Hibiscus’s second EP. The music video explores the dynamic between two individuals trapped in a relationship that appears loving on the surface but is toxic underneath. The concept, developed by Jajjay Ugbe and Rommel Nuñez, emphasizes this contrast through striking visual techniques, such as bold color blocking, split-screen effects, and freeze-framing to highlight heightened emotional moments. The video has since garnered over 30k views on YouTube, and the track has amassed over 350k streams on Spotify. Samuel Mitchell served as the Director of Photography, the production was filmed using equipment exclusively sourced from Trustfall Studios.
