BOXER
“Boxer” is a narrative short film written and directed by Zane Rizvi-Riemer. Created as an intermediate production for NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, the project was produced using equipment largely sourced from Trustfall Studios. The story follows a young boxer struggling to balance the demands of the ring with his personal life. As his mother begins to notice the toll that boxing is taking on him, she starts to question his true motivation for continuing to fight. “Boxer” has recently been selected for screenings at the Rhode Island International Film Festival and the New York Indie Shorts Awards. Samuel Mitchell served as the project’s Director of Photography, and Muhil Vaseekaran served as his 1st Assistant Camera.
